PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric ceramic composition of which temperature properties can be controlled at a high precision as use for high frequency parts, and to provide a dielectric ceramic. SOLUTION : At least one kind of powder selected from Fe2O3, Cr2O3, ZnO, CuO, Ag2O, Co3O4, MnO2, CeO2and R2O3(R is rare earth elements) in 0.1 to 2.0 pts.mass is contained to 100 pts.mass of a powdery mixture containing, by mass, 30 to 90% crystallized glass powder precipitating diopside type crystals, 1 to 40% calcium titanate powder and/or strontium titanate and 0 to 60% powder of at least one kind selected from Al2O3, TiO2, ZrO2, MgTiO3, BaTi4O9, La2Ti2O7, Nd2Ti2O7, Ca2Nb2O7, SrZrO3and CaZrO3.
