PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide Nd-Fe-B based rare earth permanent magnet material capable of suppressing abnormal grain growth, widening an optimal sintering temperature width, and having the good magnetic characteristics also in high carbon and low oxygen concentration, by finely depositing two or more sorts of a M-B based compound, a M-B-Cu based compound, and a M-C based compound and R oxide. SOLUTION : In R-Fe-Co-B-Al-Cu based rare earth permanent magnet material (wherein R denotes one sort or two sorts or more of Nd, Pr, Dy, Tb, and Ho, with 15-33% by mass of Nd contained) at least two sorts of the following three system compounds and R oxide are deposited in an alloy structure, in such a manner as the mean particle diameter of the deposit compound is 5 μm or less, while the maximum spacing between compounds adjoined each other and deposited in the alloy structure diffuses in 50 μm or less. The three compounds are a M-B based compound, a M-B-Cu based compound, and a M-C based compound (M denotes one sort or two sorts or more of Ti, Zr, and Hf).
