Process of purification of an ionic electrolyte containing at least an alkaline-earth salt, the process comprising at least a stage of setting in contact of the particles of at least a calcium salt. The process makes it possible to obtain new electrolytes one of the chief features of which is a water content particularly low. The electrochemical generators correspondent which integrate the electrolyte as component characterize by a remarkable stability and are particularly sedentary.
