PURPOSE : A method for preparing a visible light response type titanium dioxide colloid solution, the visible light response type titanium dioxide colloid solution prepared by the method, and a titanium dioxide colloid solution with excellent antibacterial activities including mold resistance are provided. CONSTITUTION : A method for preparing a visible light response type titanium dioxide colloid solution comprises the steps of : (a) sequentially adding organic and inorganic titanium compounds and additives into purified water or an alcohol solvent to react the organic and inorganic titanium compounds with the purified water or the alcohol solvent; (b) adding the reacted solution into purified water; (c) heating a resulting solution at a temperature of 90 deg.C or more; (d) introducing an adhesion promoter and an antifungal agent into the produced solution; (e) adding a basic solution into the produced solution to neutralize the produced solution; and (f) adding a special inorganic material in which rare earth elements are mixed with ceramic powder at a weight ratio of 1 : 3 into the solution, and then heating the resulting solution at room temperature or 60 deg.C or more. © KIPO 2007
