PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a fuel for a fuel cell, capable of forming a colored flame, when the fuel catches fire by a rare possibility, without lowering an output of power of the fuel cell. SOLUTION : This fuel for the fuel cell is used for being supplied to a fuel electrode of the fuel cell, wherein the fuel is formed by dissolving a specified organic complex in a liquid mixture of a fuel component and water as a colored flame-forming agent.
