PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a resin-containing rolled sheet magnet having a high coercive force and high energy product at low cost. SOLUTION : Thus magnetic uses a magnet powder having a soft and hard magnetic phases. This powder is composed of 3-15atom.% of R (at least one of rare earth elements), 5-25atom.% of N, 0.5-10atom.% of M (at least one of Zr, Ti, V, Cr, Nb, Hf, Ta, Mo, W, Al, C and P) and T (Fe and/or Co) substantially the rest. The magnetic is 2mm or less thick. The magnetic powder has high magnetic characteristics and superior in oxidation resistance enough to allow the kneading, pulverizing, forming and heat treating steps to be made in air for producing the sheet magnetic and the atmosphere control is not needed to result in a low cost.
