PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an adsorbent with high adsorption performance applicable to various kinds of base material. SOLUTION : The adsorbent comprises flat plate-like zeolite in which an average particle diameter (D) is in a range of 0.05-1.0 μm, average thickness (T) is in a range of 0.01-0.25 μm and (D)/(T) is 4 or more and which is ion-exchanged by an ion of at least one kind of an element selected from Group 1B, Group 2B, Group 3A, Group 7A and Group 8 or carries the metal of the element. The element is one kind or more selected from the group consisting of Cu, Ag, Zn, La, Ce, Mn, Co, Ni, Fe and a mixed rare earth element. COPYRIGHT : (C)2007, JPO&INPIT
