PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To improve the magnetic characteristic of a rare earth-made magnet, and to reduce eddy current loss and core loss of a powder magnetic core. SOLUTION : In a treatment solution for depositing a rare earth fluoride coating film or an alkaline earth metal fluoride coating film on the surface of an object for the coating film treatment, a rare earth fluoride or an alkaline earth metal fluoride is swollen in a solvent consisting mainly of alcohol, and the rare earth fluoride or the alkaline earth fluoride in a gel state is dispersed in the solvent consisting mainly of alcohol.
