B-stage Polymer/Luminescence powders Composite Films, manufacturing method thereof and Applications

PURPOSE : Provided is a B-stage polymer/phosphor composite film, which comprises a phosphor distributed uniformly over a large surface area, imparts uniform fluorescence characteristics to an LED, and has excellent flexibility and shelf stability at room temperature. CONSTITUTION : The B-stage polymer/phosphor composite film(100) comprises a phosphor(10), a polymer resin and a latent curing agent. The phosphor is at least one selected from the group consisting of cerium-activated terbium aluminate, calcium halorinate, rare earth elements of atomic numbers 57-71, soanclium, yttrium, compounds containing any one of rare earth elements of atomic numbers 57-71, soanclium and yttrium, manganese-added zinc orthosilicate and halophosphate. The polymer resin comprises 30-70 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin and 30-70 parts by weight of a thermosetting resin. The latent curing agent includes a dicyandiamide- or imidazole-based latent curing agent. © KIPO 2007
