PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a mushroom artificial culture medium for cultivating at high yield mushroom excellent in shape and size for a short period, and to provide a mushroom artificial cultivation method using the culture medium. SOLUTION : This mushroom artificial culture medium contains alminosilicate calcium glass, and at least one kind selected from the group consisting of alkaline-earth metal oxide (CaO, MgO or the like), alkaline-earth metal hydroxide [Ca(OH)2, Mg(OH)2 or the like], and alkaline-earth metal composite hydroxide (CaO-Al2O3-SiO2-H2O-based compound, CaO-Al2O3-H2O-based compound, CaO-SiO2-H2O-based compound, MgO-Al2O3-SiO2-H2O-based compound, MgO-Al2O3-H2O-based compound, MgO-SiO2-H2O-based compound, or the like).
