PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a YVO phosphor used for a fluorescent lamp improved in the lamp luminous flux maintenance factor and the like. SOLUTION : The phosphor is the one wherein an antimony oxide is coated on a phosphor (Y(V, P)O4 : Eu) that is an Eu-activated rare earth vanadate or one wherein part or the whole of the rare earth vanadate is substituted by a rare earth phosphate. The fluorescent lamp having it has an improved lamp luminous flux maintenance factor and in addition shows improvement in the displacement of chromaticity. COPYRIGHT : (C)2007, JPO&INPIT
