PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a thermoelectric conversion material which has the same basic structure as Fe2VAl having a Heusler alloy crystal structure, and in which a power factor P can be made greater than that of Fe2VAl without containing a harmful element. SOLUTION : In the thermoelectric conversion material, a part of Al is substituted to a rare earth element relative to the basic structure of Fe2VAl having the Heusler alloy crystal structure. When the rare earth element is defined as M, the thermoelectric conversion material has a composition represented as Fe2VAl1-xMx. It is preferable to use Y as a rare earth element. When the rare earth element is defined as Y, a composition X of the rare earth element is preferably settled within a range of 0.006-0.079. COPYRIGHT : (C)2007, JPO&INPIT
