PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a phosphor for an electron-beam-excited light-emitting element capable of suppressing reduction in light-emitting intensity.
SOLUTION : The phosphor for an electron-beam-excited light-emitting element comprises a compound represented by the formula : M1O-M22O3 (wherein M1 denotes one or more selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, and Zn; and M2 denotes one or more selected from the group consisting of Sc, Y, B, Al, Ga, and In) and a rare earth ion Ln (wherein Ln denotes one or more selected from the group consisting of Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Ho, Dy, Er, and Tm) as an activator.
