PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a cellulose acylate film wherein retardation at the whole visual range is small, substantially an optical isotropy is attained, a wavelength dispersion is small and an axial dispersion is small, and also to provide a retardation film in which angular field of view properties upon installed in a liquid crystal display device is excellent and further to provide a polarized plate using the same and a liquid crystal display device having an excellent angular field of view.
SOLUTION : In the cellulose acylate film, Re(λ) and Rth(λ) satisfy (I)0≤Re(590)≤10 and |Rth(590)|≤25, and (II) |Re(400)-Re(700)|≤10 and |Rth(400)-Rth(700)|≤35 and a slow phase axial direction is 0°±10° or 90°±10° in a film longitudinal direction, wherein the units of Re(λ) and Rth(λ) are nm.
