PURPOSE : Provided is a green phosphor composition for a plasma display panel, which has an improved charge amount, reduces a discharge error caused by black dots on a panel, and ensures an address margin by decreasing an address drive voltage. CONSTITUTION : The green phosphor composition for a plasma display panel comprises : a phosphor material selected from the group consisting of Zn2-xMnxSiO4 (wherein x ranges from 0.07 to 0.2), (Zn, A)2SiO4 : Mn (wherein A is an alkaline earth metal), (BaSrMg)O.aAl2O3 : Mn (wherein a ranges from 1 to 23), (LaMgAlxOy : Tb) (wherein x ranges from 1 to 14 and y ranges from 8 to 47), ReBO3 : Tb (wherein Re is at least one rare earth metal element selected from Sc, Y, La, Ce and Gd), and MgAlxOy : Mn (wherein x ranges from 1 to 10 and y ranges from 1 to 30); and a rare earth metal oxide coated on the surface of the phosphor material. © KIPO 2006
