PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnetic molding method capable of improving orientation properties, and to provide a method for producing a rare earth sintered magnet or the like.
SOLUTION : At a position H1 upper by prescribed dimensions than the magnetic central position HO of the magnetic flux to be generated by a coil 15, the magnetic field with the magnetic flux generated by the coil 15 is applied to alloy powder P. Thereafter, at the magnetic central position HO in the coil 15, the magnetic field generated by the coil 15 is applied to the alloy powder P. By successively acting the lines of magnetic force in different directions to the alloy powder P in this way, the orientation of the alloy powder P is changed for a plurality of times, and the orientation properties thereof are increased, thus the R-T-B-based sintered magnet having high residual magnetic flux density Br is obtained.
