PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a rare earth sintered magnet whose orientation properties and magnetic characteristics are high by improving dispersibility in lubricant. SOLUTION : The raw powder and lubricant of the rare earth sintered magnet are ground finely for obtaining finely ground powder. The finely ground powder is thrown into a chamber 11, and the chamber 11 and a rolling vane 12 provided in the chamber 11 are rotated relatively for rolling the finely ground powder. After that, a magnetic field is applied to the finely ground powder for pressure molding to obtain a forming body, and the forming body is sintered for manufacturing the rare earth sintered magnet.
