PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To improve the accuracy in detection of the position of a magnet for a field in an electric motor.
SOLUTION : In the motor 1, a rotor part 2a is composed mainly of a rotor yoke 22, a magnet 23 for a field, etc., and a stator part 3a fixed within a housing 11 is composed mainly of an armature 3, a circuit board 52, etc., and a shaft 21 and ball bearings 131 and 132 play the role of a bearing mechanism which supports the rotor part 2a capably of relative rotation around the axis J1 to the stator part 3a. In the motor 1, the circular magnet 25 for a sensor is attached to the shaft 21, and three hole sensors 53 being sensors for detecting the position of the magnet 25 for a sensor are mounted on the circuit board 52. As the magnet 25 for a sensor, a neodymium-iron-boron rare earth magnet, which has radial anisotropy, is used, whereby the accuracy in detection of the position of the magnet 23 for a field via the magnet 25 for a sensor by the hole sensor 53 can be improved.
