PURPOSE : A hybrid inorganic-organic light emitting diode and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to realize light emitting devices of various colors by changing a light emitting wavelength band through doping of rare earth and transitional metals. CONSTITUTION : A manufacturing method for a hybrid inorganic-organic light emitting diode comprises the steps of : forming a hole transporting layer on a patterned ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) substrate by a spin coating method; forming a nano particle light emitting layer on the hole transporting layer by the spin coating method; forming a buffer layer on the nano particle light emitting layer by a thermal evaporation method; and forming an electrode layer on the buffer layer by the thermal evaporation method. © KIPO 2006
