PURPOSE : A recording medium for storing nano-information is provided to store the nano-information of high density, capable of being repeatedly read and written. CONSTITUTION : A metal electrode is formed on a substrate. A metal oxide layer is formed on the metal electrode. A metal oxide is one selected from a group having a transition metal oxide and a rare earth element oxide. The transition metal oxide is NiO, Nb2O5, ZrO2, and TiO2. The rare earth element oxide is Gd2O3, Dy2O3, and La2O3. The metal electrode is Pt. © KIPO 2006
