PURPOSE : Provided is a ceramic coating which contains dispersion strengthened zirconia for stabilizing rare earth oxides for use in a turbine engine, which has a light weight but generates the equivalent effect in heat insulation. CONSTITUTION : The ceramic coating formation on a substrate comprises the steps of : providing a first composition of rare earth oxide stabilizing zirconia; providing a second composition selected from the group consisting of yttrium oxide stabilizing zirconia compositions, cerium oxide stabilizing zirconia compositions, alumina, chromia-alumina compositions, gadolinia stabilizing zirconia compositions and mixtures thereof; blending the first composition and the second composition; and laminating the blended power onto a substrate. © KIPO 2006
