PURPOSE : A method for manufacturing a ceramic sheet to emit far-infrared ray is provided to enable commercial use of the sheet in constructional materials and far-infrared ray emitting beds while being easily established by combining natural based ceramic powder and a gel type chlorinated poly ethylene binder in a constant ratio, and rolling the mixture at a constant temperature to form a desired thickness of the sheet body.
CONSTITUTION : The method comprises a first step of preparing far-infrared ray emitting component by grinding ceramics consisting of elvan, sericite, serpentine, rare-earth ore, amphibole and pulverizing the ground ceramics into desired particle size; a second step of combining 80-85wt.% of the emitting component and 20-15wt.% of poly synthetic rubber binder in a mixer at 140deg.C; grinding the mixture of the step 2 into fine powders with a particle diameter of less than 10mm; cooling the pulverized particles to 2HR; rolling the pulverized particles with thickness of 2-8mm to form a ceramic sheet; and cutting the sheet in desired length and width, and examining the sheet.
