PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To suppress the deterioration of magnetic characteristics under an elevated temperature environment in a thin rare earth sintered magnet with a thickness of ≤1 mm.SOLUTION : The rare earth sintered magnet 1 with the thickness of ≤1 mm, includes a magnet material 2 containing R (R is at least one kind of rare earth elements. However, the rare earth element is a concept including Y.), T (T is at least one kind of transition metallic elements.) and B as principal components; a Cu layer 3 formed on the front surface of the magnet material 2; and an Ni layer 4 formed on the front surface of the Cu layer 3.
