FIELD : medical equipment.SUBSTANCE : wheel-chair can be used by handicapped people for moving at home and outside by using manual drive. Wheel-chair has two side frames provided with mechanism for folding them in longitudinal direction, front and rare wheels, seat, back, motion level which is connected by draught with crank gear of one rare wheel and motion control rope drive mechanism. Wheel-chair is provided with self-adjusting and drive wheels and with two discs. Discs are tightly fixed at drive wheels for sitting at their axes. Drive joist is fastened to one disc at external side of drive wheels. Joist is mutually connected with draught and drive level. Removable axis is disposed at axes of drive wheels and it serves for fixing drive wheels. Connecting rods are fixed movable at axes of drive wheels and they are spring-loaded against rests at frames of wheel-chair. Additional wheels are fixed movable at ends of connecting rods. Additional wheels have ability to contact with drive wheels. Connecting rods are connected with rods and axis of rotation by smaller ropes. Axis of rotation has handle at its end and the axis is disposed in post. Post is rigidly fixed to frame. Wheel-chair can be driven into motion with one hand. Wheel-chair can be dismounted to reduce its sizes to fit width of door and to remove drive wheels at availability of attending personnel.EFFECT : easiness of use; reduced cost.2 cl, 5 dwg
