PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell in which, without increasing a contact resistance between a solid electrolyte layer and an oxygen electrode layer, adhesion strength of the both layers is increased and a high power generating performance can be obtained at the initial stage and a high power generating performance can be also maintained for a long period. SOLUTION : This is a fuel cell in which a perovskite type solid electrolyte layer is arranged between an oxygen electrode layer and a fuel electrode layer. An intermediate layer constituted of a complex oxide consisting of CeO2 and LnO3 (Ln is a rare earth element) is formed between the solid electrolyte layer and the oxygen electrode layer, and the oxygen electrode layer has a double layer structure of a first oxygen electrode layer and a second oxygen electrode layer. The first oxygen electrode layer is located on the second oxygen electrode layer provided on the intermediate layer and is formed of a perovskite type oxide, and the second oxygen electrode layer provided on the intermediate layer is formed of the complex oxide for forming the intermediate layer and the above perovskite type oxide.
