An anisotropic rare earth bonded magnet having a network boundary phase, provided by imparting melt fluidity accompanied by slippage to composite granules and performing a compression molding in magnetic field thereof together with a stretchable polymer and a chemical contact. Thus, there can be obtained a bonded magnet whose maximum energy product at a thickness of 1 mm is 147 kJ/m3 and at a thickness of 300 μm is 127 kJ/m3. This bonded magnet contributes toward realization of high power output, size reduction and weight reduction of permanent magnet motors.
