PURPOSE : Provided are a donor substrate for laser induced thermal transfer, its preparation method, a method for preparing an organic electroluminescent device, and an organic electroluminescent device prepared by the method which is improved in luminous efficiency and brightness and has an image part of large area. CONSTITUTION : The donor substrate comprises a base layer; a photo-heat conversion layer formed on the base layer; and a transfer layer formed on the photo-heat conversion layer, wherein the transfer layer comprises a rare earth complex. Preferably the transfer is a light emitting layer comprising a rare earth complex as a single material, and the rare earth complex is represented by the formulas 1 to 6. © KIPO 2006
