PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an antifogging coating composition capable of forming antifogging coating film that is excellent in transparency, antifoggingness, water resistance and adhesion to polyolefin resin film/sheet or the like and expresses these performances over a long period. SOLUTION : The antifogging coating composition comprises a hydrophilic material and a (meth)acrylic copolymer that is produced using an emulsifier having a reactive polymerization group of the general formula(A)( wherein, R1 is a 6-22C alkyl; R2 is H or methyl; A is an ethylene group and/or propylene group, wherein the number of the ethylene groups≥the number of the propylene groups; (a) is 0 or an integer of 1-20; b is an integer of 1-20; n+m=3, wherein m is 1 or 2, and n is 1 or 2; and M is H, an alkali metal atom, alkaline earth metal atom, ammonium group, alkylamine residue or alkanolamine residue ).
