A process for producing a self-assembled rare earth-iron bonded magnet, comprising the first step of coating a powdery rare earth-iron magnet with an oligomer or prepolymer to thereby obtain a powdery surface-treated magnet; the second step of melt kneading a drawable polymer with the powdery surface-treated magnet and coarsely crushing the mixture into granules; the third step of carrying out dry mixing of the granules with a curing agent to thereby obtain a compound; the fourth step of compressing the compound at temperature inducing melt flow into a green compact; the fifth step of in the green compact, reacting the oligomer or prepolymer with the polymer by the curing agent to thereby obtain a self-assembled rare earth-iron bonded magnet; and the sixth step of drawing the bonded magnet so as to attain a configurational change into circular or circular arc form.
