The slip ring brushes [6] used on rotary electrical equipment, eg a motor, are produced as spring metal elements. These have rare earth metal contacts [9] that engage the electrical rotor [3]. The mounting ends of the slip ring elements are formed in loops [14] that latch into holes [21] in a mounting plate [2].
