PURPOSE : Provided is a charcoal paint which radiates a far infrared ray, emits anions, neutralizes the toxicity of cement and has antibacterial, anti-insecticidal, humidity controlling and deodorizing effects. CONSTITUTION : The charcoal paint comprises 50-70 wt% of an aqueous binder; 25-40 wt% of charcoal; and 4-6 wt% of an additive. Preferably the additive comprises 1.2-1.7 wt% of elvan; 0.8-1.2 wt% of a rare earth element; 0.6-1 wt% of zeolite; 1-1.4 wt% of pyroligneous liquor; and 0.4-0.7 wt% of a herb oil. © KIPO 2006
