PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a small particle oxide powder for dielectrics having a narrow particle size distribution, a low content of an OH-group, a high C/A axial ratio and a perovskite structure and a multi-layer ceramic capacitor including dielectrics manufacturing by using the oxide powder.
SOLUTION : The method of manufacturing the oxide powder for dielectrics having the ABO3 (A is one or two or more kinds selected from atoms of 2 in valence and rare earth elements and B is Ti) perovskite structure comprises steps of mixing a compound dissolved with one or two or more kinds of the elements entering the site A and a TiO2 raw material; calcining the mixture under a vacuum such that the site A element-containing oxide is coated on the surface of the TiO2 particle, then adding the site A element-containing oxide to the coated TiO2 in such a manner the site A element/Ti ratio reaches 0.995 to 1.025; and subjecting the mixture to wet mixing, drying, pulverizing and calcining. The multi-layer ceramic capacitor includes the dielectrics manufactured by using the oxide powder.
