PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a rare-earth magnet wherein a protection layer with less defect can be formed and which can appropriately keep magnetic characteristic.SOLUTION : The method for manufacturing a rare-earth magnet is used to manufacture a rare-earth magnet having a protection layer formed on its surface, and it includes a step wherein an organic monomer-containing liquid is applied to a magnet base body containing rare-earth elements, and an electron beam is irradiated to cause polymerization reaction, so that a high polymer protection layer may be formed on the surface of the magnet base body.COPYRIGHT : (C)2006, JPO&NCIPI
