PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To solve problems of magnetic saturation and the cost increase of a rotor yoke which are caused although the wind amount and noise characteristic of a fan blower can be largely improved by miniaturizing a drive motor positioned in the center of a small fan blower and by using a rare earth series rubber magnet. SOLUTION : The rotor yoke is formed in a cup shape by means of drawing using soft magnetic steel with a flexible thickness of 1.2 mm or 1.6 mm as a material. The rare earth series rubber magnet has soft and flexible characteristics, the thickness is ≤ 1.2 mm, and remained flux density is 0.4 to 0.8 teslas, N and S alternate multiple polarization is performed on surfaces of an inner periphery and an outer periphery to set the number of polarized polar bodies 4 (number of magnetic poles : 8). This is applied to a single phase motor of which the number of stator teeth is equal to the number of the magnetic poles. Besides, this is applied to the three phases motor of which the number of the stator teeth is 6, 9, or 12, thus performing driving without a sensor. COPYRIGHT : (C)2006, JPO&NCIPI
