PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing process by which a polyester having an excellent color tone, an improved vividness and a superior moldability is manufactured with a least amount of the deposit around spinnerets even after a long spinning hours through the spinnerets by using a specific catalyst for the manufacture of the polyester.
SOLUTION : The manufacturing process for the composition comprises reacting an ester-forming derivative of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid with an alkylene glycol as the major raw materials using 30-120 mmol% of an alkaline earth metal compound based on the total amount of the ester-forming derivative of the aromatic dicarboxylic acid and adding at least one phosphorus compound selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid, phosphonic acid-based compounds, and esters of these compounds in an amount to satisfy formula (1) and a titanium compound and adding an anthraquinone dye as an orthochromatic agent to the polyester obtained by the polycondensation reaction of the reaction product. In formula (1), P is the molar concentration of phosphorous atom in the phosphorous compound components based on the total dicarboxylic acid components; M is the molar concentration of the alkaline earth metal atom in the alkaline earth metal compound components based on the total dicarboxylic acid components.
