PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To inhibit T-lymphocyte proliferation by utilizing the activity of inhibiting the proliferation of T-lymphocyte by a rare sugar. SOLUTION : A T-lymphocyte proliferation inhibitor utilizing the activity of inhibiting the proliferation of T-lymphocyte by a rare sugar, preferably D-psicose or D-allose is provided. A drug or a specific health food for preventing and/or treating the advance of the symptoms of immunity-related diseases caused by T-lymphocyte abnormalities by inhibiting T-lymphocyte proliferation is provided, containing the above inhibitor as active ingredient. The above-mentioned activity of the rare sugar is utilized in the form of a composition compounded with D-psicose, D-allose and/or derivative(s) thereof and/or a mixture thereof as the rare sugar. Specifically, the composition is in the form selected from the group consisting of a sweetener, food additive, food material, food/drink, health food/drink, drug and feed each compounded with D-psicose, D-allose and/or derivative(s) thereof and/or a mixture thereof as active ingredient.
