PURPOSE : A compost composition is provided, to allow plants to be settled on the sloped face of the earth cut and filled on the ground by improving water conservation and air permeability. CONSTITUTION : The compost composition comprises 10-55 wt% of an absorptive polymer composition comprising a propionate propeneamide copolymer and silica; 10-55 wt% of pulp; 10-55 wt% of a vegetable leaf mold; and 1-10 wt% of a composite fertilizer. Preferably the absorptive polymer composition comprises 40-60 wt% of a propionate propeneamide copolymer and 40-60 wt% of a silica carrier; and the pulp is obtained from a wasted newspaper or a wood fiber. Optionally the compost composition comprises further 10-50 parts by weight of a vegetable fiber based on 100 parts by weight of the total weight, and the vegetable fiber is rice straw.
