PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a welding method in which reduction in spatters and improvement in bead shapes can be attained, in performing fillet welding by using a shielding gas with CO2 as the main component and using a welding steel wire composed of steel wire. SOLUTION : The fillet welding is performed by a gas shielded arc welding method using a welding steel wire which is composed of a steel wire containing 0.015-0.100 mass% of rare earth elements.
