PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a multi-electrode gas shielded arc welding method that reduces welding execution cost by using an inexpensive solid wire and a shielding gas having CO2 as the main component and that also excels in arc stability. SOLUTION : In the multi-electrode gas shielded arc welding method in which, using two or more electrodes, gas shielded arc welding is performed, one or more electrodes are made to have straight polarity and, for such straight polarity electrode(s), a welding steel wire is used which is composed of steel wire containing 0.015-0.100 mass % rare earth elements.
