PURPOSE : Provided is a novel zirconate-based phosphor composition which shows a cathodoluminescence characteristic by an accelerated electron at a low voltage, can emit blue, green or red light according to the kind of an activator, and is excellent in luminous intensity.
CONSTITUTION : The zirconate-based phosphor composition comprises a Perovskite-structured zirconate containing Ca and Zr as a matrix and a rare earth ion as an activator, and is represented by (Ca(1-x)Mx)ZrO3 : Ln, wherein M is at least one metal selected from Ba, Sr and Mg; Ln is a rare earth ion; and 0<=x<1.0. Preferably the content of the rare earth ion is 0.0001-20 mol% based on the total weight of the matrix.
