PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a soil-conditioning material that can condition the soil, chemically reduce the soil, activate plant cells and enhance moisture and nutrition by formulating porous minerals, antistatic resins and minerals emitting negative ions. SOLUTION : This soil-conditioning material comprises (A) porous minerals, (B) an antistatic resin, for example, a high molecular compound mainly containing silicon, fluorine and the like and (C) a negative ion-emitting mineral, for example, a rare earth oxide as monazite. Naturally occurring zeolites or synthetic zeolites can be used as a component A. The synthetic zeolite is preferably a sintered ceramic containing >=80% of zeolite. In a preferred embodiment, 1-100 pts.wt. of a mixture of the components B and C are stuck to 100 pts.wt. of component A having a particle size of <=200 mm. The component C is mixed to component B at a weight ratio of 1-100 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the component B. In addition, tourmaline, and/or far infrared-radiating ceramic may be formulated.
