PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To manufacture a plasma display panel(PDP) which has high definition and can cope with enlargement by using a PDP electrode formed, with specific weight percent conductive metal and glass as essential components, on a glass substrate. SOLUTION : Powders whose essential component is 90 to 99wt.% conductive metal containing 70 to 100wt.% silver are blended with powders whose essential component is 1 to 10wt.%, glass containing 10 to 80wt.%, Bi2 O3 . The mixed powders are baked onto a glass substrate at temperatures not higher than 600 deg.C to form an electrode conductor film for a plasma display panel(PDP). Using the glass substrate, the front and back substrates of the PDP are fabricated and combined, and a rare gas is sealed therein to fabricate the PDP. Thus the PDP electrode, which enables formation of fine patterns and which is high in bonding strength to the glass substrate, low in resistance, and suited for enlargement, is obtained, and the PDP which has high definition and can cope with enlargement can be manufactured.
