PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an object to be treated treatment device capable of efficiently decomposing waste such as garbage by fermentation action of aerobic microorganisms. SOLUTION : The object to be treated treatment apparatus is provided with a treatment housing 4 for defining a treatment chamber 12 for treating the object 14 to be treated; a heating heater 42 for maintaining the inside of the treatment chamber 12 to suitable temperature, humidity and high oxygen concentration at which the aerobic microorganism 34 decomposes it; a moisture content feed device 8 and a high oxygen concentration gas feed device 6; and a load cell 58 for detecting the weight of the treatment housing 4. The aerobic microorganism 34 is implanted on a fungus base material 36 constituted by a ceramic material comprising magnesium silicate as a main component and porous diatomaceous earth. The amount of the object 14 to be treated thrown and the degree of activity of the aerobic microorganism 34 are controlled by detecting the weight of the treatment housing 4.
