PURPOSE : Provided are a structural panel using diatomaceous earth, which has resistance to heat and fire, insulation, soundproof property and is a light and environment-friendly product, and a method for manufacturing the same panel.CONSTITUTION : The structural panel using diatomaceous earth as a main material is manufactured by the steps of : mixing and stirring diatomaceous earth screened into less than 200 mesh, 1-2wt.% of styrofoam obtained by breaking waste styrofoam into less than 18 mesh, 5wt.% of melanin resin, and 15wt.% of solvent relative to the diatomaceous earth; putting the mixture into a mold maintaining a temperature of 170 deg.C; pressing the mixture under the pressure of 5kg/cm^2 for 60 seconds to be molded; and heating the moldings to 200 deg.C in a drying furnace to be hardened.?
