PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of a photostimulable phosphor having an excellent photostimulated emission quantity, a photostimulable phosphor and a radiation image-converting panel.
SOLUTION : The manufacturing method of the oxygen-doped photostimulable phosphor based on a rare-earth-activated alkaline earth metal fluorohalide such as europium-activated barium fluoroiodide comprises at least the following three steps : step 1 : a step for forming a photostimulable phosphor precursor by a liquid phase method; step 2 : a step for heating the photostimulable phosphor precursor formed in the step 1 at 40-200°C for 0.5-200 hr; and step 3 : a step for heating the mixture of the photostimulable phosphor precursor heated in the step 2 with alumina fine particles at 600°C or higher.
