PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a new high strength nickel-based amorphous alloy. SOLUTION : The alloy has the following composition, by weight% : 10.0 to 40.0% of Cr; 25.0 to 42.0% of Mo; 0.6 to 6.0% of Si; 0.3 to 3.0% of B; 1.2 to 5.0% of Zr; 0.1 to 1.8% of at least one element selected from the rare-earth group including Ce and La; 0.1 to 1.5% of Y, and Ni is the balance.
