A voltage non-linear resistor ceramic composition comprising a main component including zinc oxide, a first sub- component including the oxides of rear-earth elements, and a second sub- component including the oxide of Sb or the oxide of Si. The ratio of the second sub-component to 100 mol of the main component in terms of Sb is represented by 3 atomic %% <= second sub-component < 10 atomic %%, or in terms of Si by 1 atomic %% < second sub-component < 30 atomic %%. Accordingly, even when this composition is used for an electronic component such as laminate chip varistor, a sufficient sintering is possible, and an electrostatic capacity can be reduced despite a lowered circuit voltage. © KIPO & WIPO 2007
