PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a green phosphor for plasma display panel with excellent color purity, life characteristics, and discharge stability. SOLUTION : This green phosphor for plasma display panel comprises 30-80 wt% of a first phosphor of ReB03 : Tb (Re is one or more rare earth elements selected from a group consisting of Sc, Y, La, Ce and Gd.); and 20-70 wt% of a second phosphor of MgAlxOy : Mn (x is 1-20, and y is 1-30.). This green phosphor can provide a plasma display panel with excellent color purity, life characteristic and discharge stability.
