PURPOSE : A green phosphor of a plasma display panel is provided to improve color purity, lifetime, and discharge stability by mixing a phosphor of ReBO3 : Tb having prominent luminance characteristic and MgAlxOy : Mn having impact resistance in a predetermined ratio. CONSTITUTION : A green phosphor of a plasma display panel includes a first phosphor and a second phosphor. The first phosphor is formed with ReBO3 : Tb of 30 to 80 weight percent where Re is one or more rare-earth elements selected from Sc, Y, La, Ce and Gd. The second phosphor is formed with MgAlxOy : Mn of 20 to 70 weight percent where x is 1 to 20 and y is 1 to 30. The second phosphor is selected from a group including MgAl2O4 : Mn, MgAl3O4 : Mn, and a mixture of MgAl2O4 : Mn and MgAl3O4 : Mn. © KIPO 2006
