PURPOSE : To provide a high concentration wastewater treatment system for stably and promptly removing nitrogen, phosphorous and non-biodegradable contaminants contained in wastewater and maximizing removal efficiency of wastewater by sequentially passing domestic wastewater, industrial wastewater and livestock wastewater through series of relevant treatment facilities. CONSTITUTION : A high concentration wastewater treatment system comprises : a pretreatment tank(100) for removing large and small suspended solids, miscellaneous materials such as earth and sand, and solids contained in wastewater by a screen formed in an upper part of the pretreatment tank when a certain quantity of wastewater is supplied into the pretreatment tank; a grit chamber(200) for filtering fine earth and sand or suspended solids contained in wastewater when wastewater flows into an upper part of the grit chamber; a flow equalizer(300) in an inner lower part of which a diffuser(310) is formed to prevent decomposition of wastewater when wastewater flows into a lower part of the flow equalizer, and at an inner one side of which a water level gauge(320) is installed to adjust quantity of wastewater flown into the flow equalizer; an ozone contactor(400) in which wastewater and ozone are simultaneously vacuum sucked by an ozone contact pump(420) such that wastewater and ozone are mixed and contacted with each other in the ozone contact pump; a retention tank(500) in which ozone treated wastewater stays for a certain period of time such that dissolved ozone in wastewater is sufficiently removed; a denitrification tank(510) for sending the denitrified wastewater to a nitrification tank(520) after denitrifying dissolved ozone removed wastewater by an agitator(511); a sedimentation tank(530) for supplying the separated sludge to a sludge thickener(800) and sending excessive sludge removed wastewater to a catchment tank(540) after separating excessive sludge contained in wastewater; an ozone contact oxidation unit(600) for advanced ozone treatment of contaminants contained in wastewater; and a sterilization discharge tank(700) for sterilizing wastewater by a sterilizer, and discharging purified water to the outside by purifying the sterilized wastewater. © KIPO 2006
